THE COMMONS LAW CENTER
TENANT EVICTION DEFENSE
Provides tenants with brief advice, helps negotiate agreements with their landlord’s lawyers, and facilitates rental assistance applications. Also offers in-person eviction defense for tenants with an eviction court case during the morning docket at Multnomah and East County Courthouses.

Eligibility: Below 400% of the federal poverty level. Most services are limited to tenants served at the Multnomah County Courthouse clinic during the first appearance of their eviction case but citizenship and legal residency are not required.
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
